Episode 23

Your Art Needs a "Trailer" with Jim Bachor

In this episode of The Artist Business Plan we sit down with artist Jim Bachor who leads an amazing masterclass on drawing attention to your website and boosting those sales! Have different price-points so as many people who want to support you can. People want to support you so make it easy for them. Share the process, think about this.. people are excited about a movie for months, there are trailers, lead up, now share the process for your art, get people excited.

“People want to come along for the ride. They want to be excited. It's 'what are you working on now' not 'what did you already make'." - Jim Bachor

Guests : Jim Bachor adapts the ancient art form of the mosaic and applies it to contemporary American life. From potholes to junk food to breakfast cereal, his vibrant work permanently locks into mortar unexpected concepts drawn from the present. By harnessing and exploiting the limitations of this indestructible technique, Bachor’s work continually surprises the viewer, while challenging long-held notions of what a mosaic should be. His pothole art project has attracted world-wide attention since 2013.
